Solvr
Solvr reimagines the traditional question-and-answer format through an immersive, vertical-scrolling interface

We set out to create an intuitive, gesture-based Q&A experience that would lower the barrier to participation. By implementing a familiar swiping mechanism, we aimed to increase user engagement and foster community through simple question-response interactions.
Browsing Questions
The core interaction flow centers around question discovery through vertical swiping. Transitions between questions are smooth and feel natural. Actions are meant to be intuitive, with buttons allowing for, saving, sharing, and answering questions.

Asking Questions
The question creator flow, uses a minimalist interface with simple text entry and an intuitive way for users to add images to their questions. Users can also add optional topic tags and preview their questions before posting.
Your Profile
On the profile screen, users can see a visual representation of their engagement history, including statistics about questions they've asked and answered. There are also achievement indicators to gamify participation and included simple settings for customization.

Connecting knowledge seekers and experts
Reducing UI complexity seemed likely to lower barriers to participation, while the familiar swiping pattern might reduce the learning curve for new users. We believed that emphasizing visual elements over text-heavy interfaces could improve information retention, and that gamification could help with user engagement
The future of Q&A platforms?
Although the product did not launch, our design exploration showed promise for how Q&A platforms might evolve beyond conventional interfaces. The simplified, gesture-based approach focused on content rather than complex navigation, offering valuable insights for future designs in this space.
